The Most Reliable Networks: Why Cheaper Isn’t Always Better

Though it is understandable that people want to save money in hard times, choosing the cheapest cellular phone provider is not always the move to make. Generally, cellular service providers that offer dirt cheap monthly rates are doing so because their overhead is not that high. Overhead is the amount of money that a company has to put out in order to keep running. The reason why the smaller companies can offer such amazing rates is because their monthly expenses are lower. Since they are able to save money, they can also save their customers money by offering extremely cheap rates. Unfortunately, a lot of times quality gets lost in the discounts.
In order for a cellular service provider to give good service to its customers, it must have the resources. It must have many towers in operation for the patrons’ devices to connect to. If the service only connects to a few towers, there will not be good reception. The network may go down frequently and the clients will not be able to receive calls, make calls, text, or use data features. A small establishment with minimal resources may not be able to provide service that is above mediocre. The most reliable networks will be ones that spend billions of dollars on towers and technology.
