How to Fix Nokia N900 reboot Bug / Problem
Are you an N900 user ? If yes, You must have the faced reboot bug or problem at least once since you have started Using that Mobile. Well, If You havn’t, Consider your N900 unique Because according to Comments of People and Forums, Almost Each And Every N900 Has this Strange Bug in it which causes the Device to Reboot Spontaneously, No matter what is the state of your phone, Or what applications are running on it!

Had and been using the N900 quite a bit. For the first two days I had no reboots at all, after installing some programs last night I’ve had a good 4 or 5 reboots today.

Just got mine, and it reboots all the time.
First one while watching youtube, then while using bluetooth, then just the X terminal, then GPS.
And some more I cant remember exactly what I was doing.

Two more reboots today at lunch. Once while putting a shortcut on the desktop, the second while playing Mah-Jong. Unfortunately, I can’t get an exchange from Amazon right now since it is listed as out of stock, so I’m going to have to wait it out a bit and hope someone comes up with a solution.
So What to Do about this Bug ? Just have patience! N900 is an amazing Phone and ofcourse the only one of its kind. So Dont lose Your hope from this phone. Nokia is Soon going to Release a Firmware update, And if not that i m sure atleast one Solution for this bug is Going to be released soon by Someone or another. I will be posting the fix for this Bug as soon as it is available.. So keep your self updated

I had my N900 for a week, never installed any apps and it would reboot a few times every hour while in use doing any random tasks with the supplied programs/apps.
I have returned it back to Nokia UK, I am so dissapointed over half a grand and it fails out the box, and as we have all seen many customers are suffering the same problem.
Why should we pay so much money for this product and have to be their Beta testers as it seems that the product hasnt been properlyh tested before dispatch!!!
So I have returned to using my trusty N95 8gb…..great phone, good signal, never crashed or frozen since i bought it on its launch date!!!!!!!!!
You have done a very good job. If i were you, i would have done the same thing. Anyways, You have gained some experience from your mistake, So hopefully, next time when you buy any phone, Make sure you do some reasearch by reading blogs and forum. Good Luck next time
