How to Extract Apple iPhone Backup
Many iPhone Users create backups of iPhones and iPod Before Jailbreaking, Unlocking, Resetting to Factory settings, etc. But Unfortunately, Many of them don’t know how to extract their backup’s. Well, No more worries. Here is small tutorial on how to extract iPhone backup on MAC that iTunes made of your iPhone. The tool we will be using is “iPhone Backup Extractor for Mac“.
Step #1
Download iPhone Backup Extractor by Clicking here and save it on desktop.
Step #2
After Downloading, Right click and extract the archive. Next, drag and drop the extracted application into your Applications folder to install it.

Now Double click on “iPhone Backup Extractor” to launch it.
Step #4
You will notice a ” Read Backups” button. Click on it to Display your iPhone Backup
Step #5
Select and Choose the the backup you would like to extract.
Step #6
Now its Intresting. iPhone Backup Extractor will Now show you a list of the different application settings that i could extract for you. Select what ever you are willing to Extract and then Click the Extract button. I will be Choosing iPhone OS files in this case Because it Contains more important information compared to other backup available in the list below.
Step #7
Browse to the Location where you want the backup to be extracted.
Step #8
Now the Just navigate to the folder you choose in the step above to Find the extracted system settings and data.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Many Files in that Folder will have a .sqlitedb extension. These are actully database files that can be opened using Sqlite Database Browser. Click here to Download Sqlite it
