Alright, Here is the Step by Step Tutorial On how to Jailbreak your iPhone. The tool we will be using is Called Redsnow or Redsn0w, To be precise. The process is quiet long, But its not risky or Complicated at all. All you need is Common sense. This tutorial will only work Windows OS, For Mac OS Visit Click Here

Tutorial On how To unlock Your iPhone 3GS using Redsn0w :-

Step #1

Right Click and Create a folder on your desktop name Pwnage .

Next, Download redsn0w By Clicking Here and place it in the Folder you Create on your desktop ( Pwnage Folder )

Similarly, Download the latest firmware, OS 3.0 By Clicking Here and Place in the in same folder, And then Extract the redsn0w Executable from the zip file into the same Pwnage folder.

Now, Connect your iPhone 3GS to any computer or Laptop With Windows OS and launch iTunes. ( Hopefully you know how to do that ). Select your iPhone 3GS from the list of devices shown on the left of the screen. Next, Hold down the shift button and Click Restore. This process is recommended as it will not create any wasted data on your 3GS

Next, You Got to Browse to the Pwnage Folder that you created on your desktop and Select the firmware ipsw. Now Click on the open button Before heading towards the next step.

After iTunes have update your iPhone to the required firmware, Launch redsn0w.exe from the Pwnage folder, Which is placed on your desktop. Once redsn0w.exe has Loaded, Click on the browse button and Select the firmware ipsw that you placed in the Pwnage folder.

After the Firmware has been Accepted, Click Next.

Select “Install Cydia” and “install Icy” ( Very important )

Now all you have to do is Read the On screen instructions. RedSn0w will now instruct at every step. Now put your iPhone into recovery mode And then Disconnect you iPhone 3GS from the computer then power it off. Now Make sur that you Hold down the Home button properly while reconnecting your Device to the computer, Until Reds0wn detects your iPhone 3GS. Installation will start automatically after your phone gets detected.

Wait for your Phone to reboot

Just Couple of more things you have to go throught. Dont worry Redsn0w will do it all for you. All you have to do is wait and have some patience After the process has been completed, Redsn0w will notify you have the process is completed and your iPhone 3GS has been jailbreaked. Click on the Finish button And wait for iPhone to Reboot ( Aprox 5 mins ). Finally You Are DONE! Your iPhone 3GS will be successfully jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.
