Tips before buying a second hand mobile phone
If your have enough money in your pocket, its easy to buy anything you like but it is always wise to save money specially in these times of the economic recession.
Talking abt mobile phones, we must know that hardly used phones are cheaply sold to second hand shops. Indeed, buying a second hand phone can save you a good amount of money. But needless to say it is sometimes quite difficult to know about the origin, age and condition of the phone.
Just to help everyone, here is a handy list of items to check before buying a second hand phone.
1. Check the IMEI number. IMEI is a code which identifies a mobile phone. Each mobile has its own IMEI and no two mobiles can have the same IMEI. The IMEI number on the phone must match with the number on the box. This is very important because If the numbers aren’t same then either the mobile is stolen or it had its main board replaced. Both situations represent a problematic mobile.
2. Carefully inspect the exterior as it will give you an idea of how old the phone is. You might notice signs of wear and tear. Make sure that the condition is what you expect to pay for the phone.
3.Test the keypad and repeatedly press every button on the phone
4.After the exterior, it is time to check the internals. Try every function and make sure they work. Another mobile might be handy in this case.
5.How long is the battery life ? Batteries drop in efficiency as they age. This is hard to check and it is best that you take a personal warranty from the seller in order to check the battery life.
Stick to the tips above and it will be hard to get ripped off

scratches Can be tricky
! People who have scratches on their screen, usually end up putting a screen protector on it and then tell the buyer that the scratches are on the protector and not the screen
I did that once
Thanks a lot mate!
